Software Test Engineer / Senior Test Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Automation/Manual Test Engineer with strong experience in Test Automation, Dashboard/Reports Testing, Database / ETL Testing. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience and excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for enterprise applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Robot Framework, Playwright, or similar automation tools and leverage AI tools.
- Perform end-to-end testing of dashboards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and business requirements compliance.
- Conduct Database Testing and ETL Testing to validate data integrity, transformation logic, data migration, and reconciliation processes.
- Write complex SQL queries for data validation, data analysis, and backend testing activities.
- Log, track, monitor, and coordinate defect resolution with development and business teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables within project timelines.
- Build automated workflows for functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing using AI-enhanced tools.
Requirements
- Experience in Test Automation using Selenium / Robot Framework / Playwright or similar automation tools.
- Design and implement AI-assisted test automation to improve test coverage, efficiency.
- Leverage Generative AI tools to create, optimize, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Hands-on experience in Reports/Dashboard/API Testing.
- Strong experience in Database Testing and ETL Testing.
- Expertise in writing and executing SQL Queries for data validation and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Jira, GitLab, and other test management or DevOps tools.
- Healthcare domain experience.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
- Knowledge of API Testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Experience working with Snowflake DB.
Work Arrangements
- Location: Bangalore (Hybrid).
- Contract Duration: 6+ months.
- Experience: 4-6 years.
- Interview Process: 2-3 rounds (2 virtual rounds, followed by 1 onsite round if required).
